EdgeTI Selected by the OECIF for Real-time Operational Energy Situational Awareness and Energy Informed Planning

Awarded Study to Deliver Greater Effectiveness and Situational Awareness in Operational Energy (OE) with edgeCore Platform

Edge Total Intelligence Inc. (TSXV: CTRL) (OTCQB: UNFYF) (FSE: Q5i) (“edgeTI”, “Edge Technologies”, “Company”), a leading provider of real-time digital operations software known as Digital Twins, is pleased to announce its participation and selection in the FY24 Operational Energy Capability Improvement Fund’s (OECIF) Commanding Energy Call for Proposals. Among forty-eight entries in the Commanding Energy category, Real-time Operational Energy Situational Awareness and Energy Informed Planning” (RESAP) proposal was selected and features the edgeTI edgeCore™ Platform.

OECIF is the DoD’s premier joint operational energy investment program. The mission of the OECIF program is to guide operational energy innovation via targeted science and technology investments that focus on first-of-a-kind innovations. OECIF operates in collaboration with the US armed services and is structured to leverage, not replicate, the existing infrastructure and organization.

“With edgeCore, we have a history of improving management effectiveness, managing key performance indicators, enhancing analysis, and simplifying training in complex environments,” said Jim Barrett, CEO of edgeTI.

The RESAP one-year study focuses on securely extracting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) from existing energy management and weapon systems databases to construct real-time situational awareness dashboards for effective Operational Energy (OE) Informed Planning within the Combined Joint All Domain Command & Control (CJADC2).

Situational awareness was created years ago in military colleges and war rooms as well as NASA “mission control” environments. New digital technologies like data mesh, AI, automation, and composable apps are transforming complex systems and siloed data into virtual, intuitive models of real-world systems and operations. These digital twins help people see across their systems to focus on what’s important. According to MarketsandMarkets, a global analysts firm. Digital Twin global revenues are estimated to grow at over 61.3 % CAGR from 2023 to 2028.
